Happy Anniversary!

I can't believe I've been married for 8 years. You'd think I'd know how to keep up on the laundry by now!
On the 18th we celebrated 8 years together. It's been quite the ride - lots of ups and downs, lots of love and forgivness. I'm so glad that we've got each other. I've had some time lately to think about marriage and why and how and what makes it important. I thought I was doing pretty good before I got married -- I've told friends' that I didn't even know I had a temper before I got married. But boy do I have one now!
I know that our family is where we learn to be like Heavenly Father -- nothing else can test and try and prepare us like the home laboratory. And I know that as hard as the hard times are, the good times more than make up for it if we keep pressing on.
I love you, Joseph!

Who said you could grow up?!

Baby A started walking the day after her 1st birthday -- this is for you, mom:

You know that feeling where you love someone so much it feels like your heart somehow just jumped right out of your chest to tie itself to that other person?

I love that feeling. :)
You might not get that feeling looking at my kids. That's okay. :)

Little Pay Day

Today I was going to sneak in to Baby A's room while she was napping to grab a few diapers for my bag. I peaked through the door, and saw her laying peacefully in her crib, playing with her little taggie blanket and jabbering at herself. I love that.

And then tonight, J-boy started singing the song I've been TRYING to teach him in Primary (I'm the children's chorister at church now). We were eating dinner, and he just busted out in his squeaky little boy soprano: "I Feel My Savior's Love in all the world around me! His Spirit warms my soul through everything I see." His squeaky little boy soprano has been driving me crazy lately (MOM! Dan I-dan I- dan I - MOM! Dan I have dookies? MOM! I want a dookie! MOM! Dookie please!!!!! Please please please please please??!!!! MOM!!!!!), so it was nice to hear something sweet coming from his vocal chords. :)

What do you do in the Summer Time?
